Snow May Cause Travel Impacts This Weekend In SE Wyoming

The National Weather Service’s Cheyenne office said a cold front expected to bring snow to the region could affect travel this weekend.

The agency has posted this statement on its website.

Let’s see what the weather looks like for the rest of the week in southeastern Wyoming and the Panhandle, Nebraska, and into the start of the new year. Windy but pretty good Thursday and Friday. Strong winds are possible in windy areas of southeastern Wyoming Thursday night through Friday. Changes will come this weekend as the cold front moves from the west and southwest. A cold front moved into the western region (Rollins/Laramie) on Saturday afternoon with snow falling behind the front. Snow will spread eastward Saturday night and could affect some people’s New Year’s Eve plans.
