LIST: Snow emergencies, travel advisories

Cincinnati (WXIX) – Some counties still issue travel advisories and snow emergencies to warn drivers of dangerous road conditions.

Depending on where you live, there was between 2 and 5 inches of snowfall across the region, but the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport set a new record with a sharp drop in temperature.

The Arctic air began to fully enter. It’s -7 on a Friday morning and there’s a chill of -34 degrees at CVG.

Temperatures will remain frigid through Wednesday, eventually topping 32 degrees.

Here are some snow and travel notes:

  • Hamilton County It’s under a level 2 snow warning. Roads are dangerous and icy. Drive only when necessary and use extreme caution while traveling.
  • miami township snow emergency. All vehicles must be off all roads between 7:00 pm Thursday and 3:00 pm Friday.
  • Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones says it’s a Level 1 snow emergency. He adds that the roads are “very icy”.
  • city ​​of monroe – There will be a snow emergency on Thursday at 8pm. All vehicles must be removed from the streets.
  • Clinton County Subject to Level 2 winter weather advisory
  • Preble County You are in a level 2 snow emergency.
  • Dearborn County – Orange travel advisory is valid. An orange ‘Warning’ travel status means that the situation poses a threat to public safety. During travel advisories in “monitored” areas, only essential travel, such as commuting and emergencies, is recommended, and businesses, schools, government agencies, and other organizations are required to implement emergency action plans.
  • Kenton County – Level 1 snow emergency. Valid from 6pm Thursday until lifted. During snow emergencies, vehicles cannot be parked on any right-of-way on any public road when snow depth is greater than 2 inches.
  • Bracken County – Level 2 snow emergency
  • Boone County – Upgraded to Level 2 Snow Emergency just before 11pm on Thursday.
  • Pendleton County – Upgrade from Midnight to Level 2 Snow Emergency.
  • campbell county – Level 1 travel advisory will be in effect Thursday at 7pm until further notice. This recommendation is to help residents be aware of dangerous road conditions.
  • Grant County – Level 1 snow emergency
  • Gallatin County – Level 2
