CVG forecasts pre-pandemic travel volumes this holiday season. Thursday is expected to be the busiest day for departures, and holiday travel has been greatly complicated by massive storms hitting much of the country.
“Sometimes you can see where your plane is coming from,” CVG spokesperson Mindy Kirshner said. If we’re hit by winter weather, airline networks can be affected, so we can be aware of what’s happening across the country.”
Kirschner recommends downloading the airline’s mobile app to receive real-time notifications about flight delays and cancellations.
You can also use the app’s “chat” customer support feature to connect directly with the airline.
If your flight is canceled and you choose not to travel, you are entitled to a refund. There is no federal law that requires airlines to provide compensation to passengers if flights are delayed.
