A Houston couple said they canceled a flight to New Orleans on Sunday just before takeoff.

They had to drive back to Houston on Monday in hopes of tracking the package.

“We were told our bags went to New Orleans. Would you like to get on the plane and take our bags instead?” said Chris Murray.

The winter storms that ravaged across the United States were ill-timed for travelers as flights over the Christmas week began to return to pre-pandemic levels.
