CLARKSVILLE NOW – A record-breaking convenience store chain with Texas roots is coming to Clarksville.

Visit Clarksville, a division of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Council, said in a news release this week that residents will enjoy more dining, shopping, live music events, lodging options, and features at new and existing attractions in 2023. can be expected. About Buc-ee’s

Other projects

Other new projects coming to Clarksville in 2023 include:

  • Dunbar Cave State Park is celebrating its 50th anniversary with special summer activities.

Theresa Harrington, Executive Director of Visit Clarksville, said the new tourism project will help introduce Clarksville to a wider audience.

Harrington said in a news release: “We were always promoting a small slice of a few things, and now that pie is getting bigger and bigger as we continue to develop more and different kinds of activities and experiences. This gives more people the opportunity to spend more money from more places.”

Increase in Clarksville Tourism

Visitor spending in Montgomery County in 2021 totaled $340.5 million, just below 2019’s record-breaking pre-COVID travel revenues, actually back to 97%, the release said. says.
