The Buffalo Bills are on their way to a Week 16 game against the Chicago Bears.

Like many players, their pre-match travel had already changed. Bills (11-3) left early for Chicago (3-11).

The team was originally scheduled to leave on Friday, but left on Thursday.

Now they also have to figure out how to get home.

Western New York is dealing with a blizzard containing snow and high winds.

for that, New York Governor Kathy Hochul Buffalo Niagara International Airport has announced it will be closed until 11 a.m. Monday.

In most cases, the teams leave the city immediately after the contest, even at night. Given that the Bills and Bears kicked off at 1:00 p.m., the plan was likely to be home on Saturday night.

The bill will have to decide whether to spend a bit of Christmas in Chicago or change flights to Rochester where the airport is open.
