The body of 20-year-old Misrach Ewunetie was found near the campus tennis courts on October 20, six days after she was reported missing.

An autopsy by the Middlesex County coroner determined she died of “bupropion, escitalopram, and hydroxyzine toxicity.” announcedHer death was ruled a suicide.

Originally from Ethiopia, Ewnetie majored in sociology at an Ivy League school.

The last time I saw a top student brushing his teeth in the dormitory was October 14th. Her family in Ohio reported her missing two days after she missed an appointment to apply for US citizenship.

“She is the jewel of the family, their only daughter and youngest child,” her brother Universe Younetie told the US Sun of his sister.

“Our hearts go out to her family, friends and many who knew and loved her,” Calhoun wrote.
