Funviralpark The Mega Millions jackpot soared to a whopping $785 million after it was announced that no one matched all six numbers in Friday’s lottery draw.
The winning numbers for Friday’s $685 million jackpot were 1, 3, 6, 44, 51 and number 7 for the Gold Mega Ball. The next draw will take place on Tuesday with a new estimated jackpot of $785 million and prize options of $395 million.
Friday’s prize was the largest Mega Millions prize offered in the final week of each year, according to the lottery.

The last time the lottery jackpot was won was on October 14th, and the jackpot has increased 22 times since two ticket winners shared the $502 million prize.
It has continued to climb since the latest draw. The jackpot was estimated at $640 million for him, as he had no tickets matching all six winning numbers in Tuesday’s draw.
Only 6 Mega Millions jackpots have been won this year. The winning tickets were California, Florida, New York, Minnesota, Illinois and Tennessee.
“Only the last three times the Mega Millions jackpot has exceeded $700 million, and all three rolls have exceeded $1 billion,” said Mega Millions.
In July, the jackpot surpassed $1 billion for the third time in history.
The historic $1.34 billion prize was won by an anonymous ticket holder from Des Plaines, Illinois.
Mega Millions is played in 45 states plus Washington DC and the US Virgin Islands.
