MIAMI (WSVN) – A man turned himself in after filming him firing a gun through the window of a sports car along the Palmetto Expressway.

Nelson Alejandro Perez Valdivia was escorted to the Turner Guilford Knight Detention Center around 8:30 am on Monday.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Perez Valdivia turned himself in after posting a video of him firing a gun from inside a Lamborghini on a state highway and another man speeding down the highway.

At several points in the video, the driver was also seen going 111mph.

The troopers spent the weekend searching for Perez Valdivia.

Perez-Valdivia posted these videos to his Instagram story and also shared videos of him and his friends partying before and after firing the shot.

One of his neighbors saw the video online and was shocked.

“It’s crazy. I didn’t know he lived here,” said Anthony Giantorna. “I saw it and thought it was crazy.

There were no reported injuries.

7News found that Perez Valdivia was arrested in January of this year for another crime of improperly displaying a gun.

The Troopers said he was out on bail for the incident when he turned himself in Monday morning.

He faces several charges, including firing a firearm from a vehicle, and his bail is set at $112,000.

Perez-Valdivia is due to appear in court on Tuesday and a judge will decide on his bail.
