A Jan. 6 committee in the House formally withdrew the subpoena of former President Donald Trump as the investigation ends days before the next Congress, a source familiar with the matter told ABC News. rice field.
Rep. Benny Thompson, chair of the committee, notified Trump’s attorneys of the decision in a letter Wednesday, citing the “imminent termination” of the committee’s work.

The committee issued a subpoena to Trump in October, ordering him to submit documents by November 4th and appear under oath for a day or several days beginning November 14th.
