Indianapolis police found missing kidnapped baby when they stopped to eat

Two Indianapolis police officers spent a day searching for the missing baby, to no avail. Stolen cars as they stopped to eat and gather wisdom.

A woman suspected of stealing a black 2010 Honda Accord was taken into custody earlier in the day on Dec. 22, but the car was still missing. More urgent is baby Casson Thomas, who was in the car with twins Kaia Thomas when it was stolen three days ago. Columbus, Ohio had not yet been discovered.

“I was disappointed not to find him, so it was time to decompress,” Sean Anderson of Sgt. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police told CNN affiliate WISH-TV. “And God would open heaven to us and deliver him into our hands.”

There, outside Papa John’s in the very square where Anderson and Sergeant are. Richard Elle stopped for a meal, was a stolen car. Casson was inside. A 5-month-old baby has been missing for nearly three full days and may have been alone most of the time.

“When we found him, he was cold, but he was awake, breathing, moving around a little bit,” Elle said in an interview with WBNS-TV. was wide open and trying to take everything in.”

Kason’s family said they were doing what was expected under the circumstances, the station reported. Her twin grandmother, Lafonda Thomas, said she was blown away by the find.

“It’s going to be the best Christmas ever,” she told WBNS-TV. “I’m so excited. It’s a miracle.”

Kason and Kyair Thomass were left in a moving car on the night of December 19 when their mother picked up a DoorDash order in Columbus. When she returned, the car was gone, along with her twins, according to Columbus Police.

Kyair was found abandoned near Dayton International Airport in the early hours of December 20, police said. However, it took several days before Cayson was found in Indianapolis, about 175 miles from where he was taken.

Jackson, 24, was awaiting extradition to Columbus, where she faces two felony kidnapping counts. A warrant for Jackson’s arrest was filed through Franklin County Court, according to online documents. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office also charged Jackson with battery of bodily waste, according to online court records.
