Hundreds signed a petition calling for a ban on “hate speech” at school board meetings after one parent cited the Bible in a public comment criticizing school boards.

The school’s transgender policy has come under criticism from parents after two girls were sexually assaulted by boys in skirts in 2021.

In the public comment section, one speaker accused the board of promoting “immoral” behavior contrary to God’s “design” and “natural order.”
