Central Florida welcomes the coldest day in 33 years – WFTV

ORLANDO, Florida — Central Florida is about to experience its second freezing day and coldest day in 33 years on Christmas morning.

Cold Christmas morning will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday morning, when temperatures dipped below 30 degrees.

Thankfully, less wind is expected.

A severe cold warning is in effect for Marion, Sumter, Flagler, Volusia, and Northlake counties.

Freeze warnings are mandatory in Orange, Seminole, Brevard, Osceola, Polk, and South Lake counties.

All in all, expect a gradual warm-up, so it won’t be too cold.
