A 19-year-old boy who died Friday in a shooting at the Mall of America has been identified by the Hennepin County coroner as Jonte Raymon Hudson of St. Paul.

Bloomington police said nine people were fighting at the mall’s Nordstrom store on Friday night. One man pulled out a gun and shot Hudson multiple times.

A bystander’s jacket was grazed by a bullet, but there was no gunshot wound.

The suspect then left the store and drove to White Castle for food, police said.

Surveillance video helped police track the suspect to an address in St. Louis Park, where SWAT teams executed a search warrant and arrested five people around 8:40 a.m. Saturday.

Police believe either Wright or De Pratt to be the shooter.

Police have not identified the 17-year-old as he is a minor.

All five suspects have been charged with second-degree murder. They are likely to appear in court on Tuesday for the first time.
