While the idea of traveling with a “pandemic pod” may be fading, other pandemic-inspired travel trends are here to stay. That can range from looking for hotels and resorts with plenty of outdoor space for seasonal activities and sports to finding places where you can both work and relax during the same extended stay.
Many spacious resorts in locations that experience dramatically different seasons throughout the year typically close part of the year (ski resorts in summer, beach hotspots in winter). However, more and more all-season resorts are catering to new and returning visitors, offering new experiences and activities throughout the year.

There is plenty of parking around the property, and most guests arrive by car, but for those wanting to catch Amtrak from New York City or Boston, for example, Hudson Station isn’t too far. (However, Uber and taxis are in short supply, so be sure to arrange a car service with your hotel in advance. The hotel has a restored Land Rover, which is also available during ski season to transport guests to Wyndham His Mountain. will be used.)

This is because you get the best of both worlds as you can stay in your own property with all the facilities and services of a hotel as well as all the facilities of a home.

Also, very important for those who want to work remotely, the hotel includes very strong and fast Wi-Fi in the room rate.
The seven lodges themselves are historic, more than 140 years old, but have all been refurbished and upgraded to modern standards inside. All rooms feature oak floors, custom furnishings, marble bathrooms (some with clawfoot tubs), king or queen size beds with central heating/air conditioning units . Most suites have balconies with custom wooden recliners and unobstructed views of either Mount Windham or the Bataviaquil River.
