Tanner Hoang found dead after week-long search, police confirm

Tanner Huang, a Texas A&M student from Flower Mound, was found dead in Austin after a week-long search, College Station Police confirmed to FOX 4.

Juan, 22, went missing on Friday, December 16th. His family was heading to College Station to watch his graduation that weekend and was scheduled to meet Huang at lunch that afternoon.

However, Texas A&M University said Huang was not eligible to graduate.

Expansion of coverage for missing persons

Juan’s car was later found empty in a West Austin parking lot on December 22nd.

Volunteers and search parties were asked to return home on Saturday, shortly before a social media post that Juan’s body had been found.

The nonprofit Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley (AANBV) has updated that Juan was found dead near the Pennybacker Bridge on Loop 360 in Austin, not far from where the car was found. posted.

“It is with great sadness that Tanner’s family reports that he was found dead today in Austin, not far from where his car was recovered. Please continue to pray for the Tanner family during this difficult time.” AANBV wrote.

College Station Police did not release additional information regarding the circumstances of Juan’s death.
