After losing to the Giants last Sunday, Commanders head coach Ron Rivera said the team’s offensive production didn’t improve and Rivera should consider changing quarterbacks if he pulls the trigger this Sunday. Said he had to.
Rivera pulled Taylor Heinicke after two turnovers and brought in Carson Wentz for the first time since injuring his finger in Game 6 of the season. Wentz had 123 yards he went 16-for-12 and a touchdown to create uncertainty as to who would start in Week 17 against the Browns.
