A man shot and killed his wife on Christmas morning at a Jehovah’s Witness kingdom hall in Thornton, Colorado, before committing suicide, police said.

Police said the Adams County medical examiner will confirm the identity of the deceased at a later date.
They also said, “The Adams County Sheriff’s Department Hazardous Materials Division is currently investigating a suspicious device found at the scene,” and police are interviewing witnesses as part of the ongoing investigation.
On Sunday night, Thornton Police said three “incendiary bombs” were found at the scene. Thornton Police Department said, “With the help of the Adams County Hazardous Materials Division, they were successfully recovered. They did not elaborate on the type of incendiary bomb found or the exact location.
“There are no further concerns for the safety of the Thornton community,” police said.
Thornton is located about 10 miles north of downtown Denver.
