Paris shooting: Three dead, several injured in France after gunman opens fire

Local mayor Alexandra Cordevar said three people were killed and four wounded after gunmen opened fire at a Kurdish community center in Paris and a nearby restaurant and barbershop on Friday.

“After the dramatic filming that took place this morning, I am back in Paris to go to the scene. All my thoughts go out to the families of the victims. The perpetrators have been arrested,” said Gerard of France. Home Minister Dharmanan tweeted:

The shooting in District 10 has not been designated as a terrorist incident, but all routes are being investigated.

A man suspected of attacking has been arrested. The shooter’s motive was unclear and an investigation had been launched, said Paris prosecutor Laure Becquaud.
