Now, in Part 2, the emcee was downright awful.
I had a few questionable calls throughout the afternoon, two of which I will forever remember.
The refereeing crew, composed of SEC referees, overturned Roman Wilson’s touchdown catch and chose not to call the targeting to Colston Loveland on the final play of the game.
Wilson’s touchdown lacked irrefutable video evidence to overrule the call.The moment Wilson took possession of the ball, it was over the white goal line. There is no reason why should be overturned. The score would have narrowed Michigan’s deficit to make the game 14-10.
Sunday Night Football rules analyst and former NFL official Terry Macaulay has verified what the public has witnessed.
This play would have given Michigan a lot of vitality and momentum.
Not only that call, but the final play of the game clearly appeared to target Colston Loveland’s head and neck area.
It was a 15-yard penalty and Michigan had 25 seconds to score a touchdown to beat TCU. They were deprived of that opportunity through negligence and blatant disregard for the letter of the law.

Michigan’s own mistakes greatly affected the outcome of the game, but they’re not the only ones with work to do – these officials were on a grand stage, failing miserably in their profession, It put Michigan at a disadvantage. If a malicious call is made, lack of comment on the subject is unacceptable and transparency is paramount. Frankly, shame on these SEC officials. Show corruption.
