Police in Minnesota have arrested five people in connection with a shooting at the Mall of America on Friday night that left one dead and another grazed.
The shooting occurred just before 8 p.m. Friday and the dead victim is described as a 19-year-old African-American man. According to FOX 9, a woman’s clothing was grazed by a bullet.
Five people got into an altercation, one of whom shot a 19-year-old boy several times. A 19-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene after first responders attempted to save him.

Police arrived on the scene shortly after receiving reports of the shooting, and a lockdown was placed on the Mall of America, which was later lifted.
A SWAT team from the Bloomington Police Department raided a house in the city at 8:40 am on Saturday and made five arrests. Two 18-year-old men and three of his 17-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder.

Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges said investigators believed one of the teens fired the gun.
“We are confident that those responsible for killing the victim are in custody,” Hodges said.

Hodges said no motive was identified, but police believe the shooting may have been related to a “long-standing feud” between the two groups.
