MOSCOW, Idaho — Newly leaked images of two of the four University of Idaho stabbing victims have surfaced, raising new questions about the case as the murder investigation approaches its seventh week without a suspect. Little information has been revealed.
Authorities said in the early stages of the investigation that two victims, 21-year-old Cary Gonsalves and Madison Morgen, held a number of people at a corner club bar in downtown Moscow before returning home in the early hours of November 13. I made sure I had the time.
Images that began circulating early Tuesday show two women who appeared to be wearing the same clothes as Goncalves and Morgen before the attack. If the timestamp is correct, we get it at 1:32 AM.
Police have collected hours of surveillance video from cameras inside and outside the bar. The bar was popular with college students and the young staff were friends of the victims.

Goncalves and Mogen stopped at a nearby food truck before boarding a rental house on King Road and arriving before 2am. Their housemates, her Xana Kernodle and her boyfriend, Ethan Chapin, both in her 20s, were back minutes ago after attending a party. Party at the nearby Sigma Chi fraternity.
All four were killed with “fixed-blade” weapons between 3 and 4 a.m., authorities said.
Social media comments are raging with speculation as to who the photo is and who it appears with the duo believed to be Goncalves and Morgen.

Moscow Police Capt. Anthony Darlinger told Fox News Digital on Tuesday that investigators were aware of the images, but the source of the leak remains unclear.
Police have refused to confirm its authenticity or answer questions about who it points to. I warn the general public not to.
Gonçalves and Morgen were seen on another surveillance camera minutes later with a man on another surveillance camera just a block away as they were en route to a food truck. hitchhiked, and the men departed separately.
A man behind bars declined to comment on Tuesday.
The group was found walking in the background of a body camera video taken near the crime scene at 3am.
Aside from a statement posted on Facebook on November 14, the club’s management has said little since the killing.
“Our hearts are broken,” the post read. “Hug your loved ones, call friends you haven’t talked to in too long, stay close to each other, and get home safely.”
Police are still looking for white 2011-2013 Hyundai Elantras as part of the investigation. They say it was seen near the house around the time of the killing and that someone inside the vehicle may have “important” information.
