School Collects 43 Tons of Food During Christmas Mutirão Gincana in Santa Catarina

Over the past four weeks, one of the hottest topics among Blumenau Adventist College (CAB) students, parents and employees was the Mutirão de Natal (“Christmas Campaign”) friendly color contest. The school was divided into his five teams (green, purple, yellow, red, and blue), each of whom had to meet his two-ton food target.

On December 4th, the school held a closing event for this activity. During the program, the goals that the team achieved were announced. We exceeded the goals set by everyone and collected a total of 43 tons of food. This is his triple target of the provisions.

The Mutirão de Natal is a project promoted by the Seventh-day Adventist Church through Adventist solidarity action, mainly for those who live in socially vulnerable situations and who, on this day of celebration, do not even have the basics for survival.
