Located at the intersection of Stewart Ferry Pike and McCreary Roads in Wilson County, Gladeville Market and Grill is a family-owned meat and three-style restaurant offering quick, delicious meals on the go. It looks like a typical Tennessee country store. Just know that they serve fried bologna sandwiches on good old white bread. And they do. However, not all dishes are Southern comfort foods. Owner Judy Yang also makes great Asian comfort food. They are known for their great egg rolls and great fried catfish and more.
The menu is different every day. It’s posted on Facebook for those who want to know what’s available before they go. But whether the menu of the day offers General Tso’s Chicken or Teriyaki Chicken with Rice or Jambalaya or Polish Sausage or Lasagna or Quesadillas or the hugely popular fried pork chops, the reviews always shine. truly international.

Jan and her staff make everyone feel like family. One customer even tells of a time when he felt really bad with a cold. She asked her son to go to the market to buy a can of chicken noodle soup.When Ms. Yang heard about her mother’s illness, she cooked chicken and dumplings with fresh carrots and celery. I made. She said it was delicious and that her Yan-san’s kind heart made her feel so much better.
Every day, there are several dishes Yang orders, such as vegetables such as white kidney beans and green beans, good old macaroni and cheese, and orange chicken. She also usually serves burgers and chicken tenders.
They do breakfast too. Their Sunday brunch often attracts families. They offer made-to-order omelettes with a choice of fillings, including sausage, bacon, ham, or chicken as the meat. Topped with tomatoes, onions, peppers, and cheese, you can choose sides such as grits, hash browns, home fries, and oatmeal. Other breakfast options include waffles, steak, eggs, or breakfast plates.

For those who can’t make it to the brick-and-mortar restaurant at Gladeville Market and Grill, Yang brings his favorite dishes to the Wilson County Fair. They have followers who follow them up to the fair.
“I eat here several times a week,” said one diner. “Breakfast is quick and made to order, lunch is great with meat and his three scenarios. When they opened at the expo, I went to see them too.”
An unincorporated area of Wilson County, Gladeville is named for the surrounding cedar forest. About 10 miles southeast of Mount Juliet, just off Interstate 840. The area was founded by Benjamin Hooker, Jr. in his 1852 and grew to include a post office in 1855. Today, it is best known as the home of the Nashville Superspeedway.
