Hernando’s first boba restaurant, Boba Cream, opened in September. Boba Cream offers milk tea, fruit tea, Hawaiian, Filipino, Korean and a variety of desserts.

Two new Vampire Penguin stores opened this year: South Haven and Hernando. Vampire Penguin offers shaved ice and a variety of desserts. In early November, owner Christa Dulci gave mourners and fans who lined up to see Luis at the Hernando Funeral Home an Atomic Her Fireball in vanilla topped with her candy “Signature Jelly Lee Lewis Snow.” ” was handed out.

Serena’s Soul Food

Serena’s menu includes fried chicken, smoked turkey neck, yams, collard greens, and mac and cheese.
Mr.Q’s Sloppy Joes
5441 US 51 North, Horn Lake
Mr. Q’s, which opened in January, serves hot dogs, chicken fingers, cheeseburgers, and even sloppy jokes. There is also a breakfast menu.

Crumbl Cookies opened Olive Branch in March. The Utah-based chain is known for serving freshly baked, over-the-top cookies made from scratch in their signature pink boxes. Each week, the menu rotates to offer 4 signature flavors to enjoy alongside the cookie menu of the week announced on Sunday. Milk chocolate chips (Crumbl Cookies original cookie) and chilled sugar cookies are always available.

El Paraiso Authentic Mexican Restaurant

El Paraiso Authentic Mexican Restaurant is a family-run restaurant known for its tacos and margaritas.
Mugshot Grill & Bar
6300 Goodman Road, Olive Branch. (662) 420-7793
Opened in Olive Branch in early January, this Hattiesburg, Mississippi-based restaurant chain is known for its burgers. Its signature “The Mugshot” burger features his three seasoned patties stacked high with his six strips of hickory-smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, lettuce, tomato and red onion. The burger I used was his challenge. and handmade pickles. It’s free if you finish it within 12 minutes.
Poke World Tapioca & Ramen
5142 Goodman Road, Olive Branch
Poke World, which opened at Olive Branch in early fall, serves ramen, bubble tea, and poke bowls. Poke World also has stores in Southaven, East Memphis and Cordova.
Wata Burger
Goodman Road and Getwell Road, Southaven and Goodman Road and Airways, Southaven
Two Whataburger stores will open in South Haven in 2022. His Whataburger, a Texas-based fast food chain, is known for its freshly made, customized burgers, shakes, fancy ketchup, spicy ketchup, and breakfast taquitos. The first store to open at 176 Goodman Road East was the first regional store to open since Memphis Whataburger closed in the ’90s.

Everything Butt Donut Bakery
775 Goodman Road East, Unit 11, Southaven
Opening in summer 2022, this ‘New York-style’ bakery and bistro offers desserts such as cheesecakes, giant cookies, fresh bread and bagels. In addition to the classic cheesecakes on offer, the shop also sells signature cheesecakes and “boogie” cheesecakes in flavors such as Pina Colada, Blackberry Merlot, Bacon Chocolate Stout, White Russian, and Almond Amaretto. Also sells coffee and tea.

tequila modern mexican

Opened in early spring, this family-run restaurant across from Snowden Grove in Southaven offers a menu of modern Mexican fare, including fajitas and taco salads. The breakfast menu includes Sunrise Sausage Enchiladas, as well as items such as Tequila Chicken and Waffles and pancake stacks.
Bites & Treats
8020 US 51 North, Southaven
Opening this summer, Bites & Treats offers ice cream, frozen yogurt, Philadelphia steaks, gyros, hot dogs, and a variety of other fast food-style offerings. The restaurant has a seating area for people to stay and enjoy their meal.

Fill My Cup opened inside the Brown Missionary Baptist Church in Southaven. Drinks include Americanos, lattes, frappes, and smoothies. Cookies and muffins are also served.

Central BBQ opened its first Mississippi store in Southaven’s Silo Square in October. Known for its ribs, wings, nachos and sandwiches, this local favorite also has four locations in Memphis and his two in Nashville.

The Memphis-based burger chain opened its first Olive Branch restaurant in November. The new restaurant has a large takeout area and a patio with open windows and large booths.

The Memphis-based chain opened its second store in South Haven in January. The menu includes shrimp, snow crab, and lobster tails.
