a The Virginia radio host didn't get exactly what he wanted this Christmas.

Domenick Nati, 44, shared a video on social media on Christmas Eve, showing viewers that his Tesla electric car wouldn't charge despite being plugged in. Friday.

Nati saw her Tesla S battery at 40% on Friday and stopped turning it on.

On Christmas Eve he tried to charge the vehicle again, but to no avail. "The battery is heating up. Please keep the charging cable inserted," he recalled the car saying. After an hour the battery was not charging.

"I don't have another car so I decided to see if I needed more time. Time is up and I only have 19 miles left before it's empty, so I'm leaving the car plugged in. I decided to go home," continued Nati. .

He also claims that Tesla customer support did not respond to him about the issue. Ultimately, he was forced to cancel his vacation plans. Because the car wouldn't charge and there were no rideshares available in his area.
