Volkswagen will unveil a new electric vehicle (EV) at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 3, 2023 at 4:00 PM PST. A camouflage version of the new EV will be exhibited and the official name will be announced.

Brandstätter also said the ID.Aero will be Volkswagen's next global car model for Europe, China and the US. His upcoming EV will be built on VW's Modular Electric Drive Matrix (MEB) platform and will have a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery. The ID.Aero has a range of up to 620 km (WLTP), equivalent to 385 miles. The drag coefficient is 0.23.
Volkswagen plans to start production of the ID.Aero in Emden next year. Sales of the ID.Aero in China are expected to begin by late 2023.
During CES 2023, the German automaker will be exhibiting at Booth CP-5 at Tech East outside the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition to the new electric vehicles, Volkswagen will also showcase the European versions of his ID.4 and ID.Buzz. The German automaker plans to launch ID.Buzz in the US next year.
