Online car marketplace iSeeCars has made an interesting calculation for budget used car buyers.

The company looked at a recent study of cars with the longest potential lifespans and compared them to used car prices 10 years ago. The result is a list of cars, trucks, and SUVs priced between $9,000 and $19,000. These 29 cars and trucks need to hold their value more than others

Topping the list is the Chevrolet Impala sedan, which has about 120,000 miles and averages $9,706, but is projected to reach 230,343 miles with proper maintenance. It was followed by a Toyota Prius at $107/1,000 miles and a Honda Civic Coupe at $108.

Three Toyotas and three Hondas made the top ten, along with Kia, Ford and Dodge.
