Shoppers checking out the most affordable SUVs are in for sticker shock due to the low supply of new vehicles. According to a new Kelly Blue Book report that includes data from Cox Automotive, the average new car price for November 2022 hit a record high of $48,681.
According to a KBB report, the average price paid for a new mainstream (non-luxury) car in November was $44,584, also a record, $330 higher.
