NYC mom possibly mowed down by husband with kids in car

A 41-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after she was allegedly mowed down by her husband in an SUV carrying children in Queens early Tuesday morning, police said.
The vehicle lies in front of a house on Parsons Boulevard.

The 36-year-old husband was driving a Ford Explorer and at about 5:20 a.m. he crashed into the fence in front of his family's house on Parsons Boulevard near Franklin Avenue. Police say the wife suffered serious injuries and was taken to Booth Memorial Hospital.

The couple's three children were in the vehicle, but were not injured.

The three boys aged 11, 9 and 6 in the car were not injured. The husband is in custody and charges are pending. Police and sources said the accident was being investigated as a vehicle assault and a domestic incident.
