“When I found this car, I drove through the old town and saw what they were doing here. That was really how it all started. ' said Sanford. She bought a bright yellow Mustang about six years ago, has been attending the Friday Night Muscle Car Show and cruises for just as long, and has found family in this close-knit community. But her love of all things cars began long before he attended the Old Town auto show. In fact, she was only 16 when she found her passion. Growing up in Pennsylvania, she had friends who raced drag cars. She eventually started helping her friend work on a drag car in the garage, and she's been hooked ever since. Now she's part of a club that showcases classic muscle cars here in Old Town on Friday nights. It's an evening full of energy and entertainment, and Tammy hopes to pass it on to a new generation, especially women.Introduce more women to this classic car lifestyle. "Anybody can do this! Who knows when the next rep will be in charge of Ford or Chevrolet or Dodge and stop doing this or that." We know everything is important for women, but hopefully we can show that this is for everyone, not just the men's club." The Friday night muscle car show and cruise begins at 3:00 PM and ends at 10:00 PM. It takes place every Friday night in Old Town.
