Kia Stinger Tribute Edition Bids Farewell to a Great Sport Sedan

The Kia Stinger is a ridiculous car. This award-winning Sport His sedan came from the most unlikely source of its time. Korean automaker Kia has typically focused on strong warranties and family-friendly vehicles. It was great, but unfortunately nothing in this world lasts forever. Stinger will soon disappear from the industry, but before that, his Kia has one final trick up its sleeve.

Kia announced the Stinger Tribute Edition last week. Tribute his edition based on V6 GT trim is limited to just 1,000 units. The exterior is painted in Ascot Green, but a matt gray option is also available. The exterior has some special touches such as black Brembo brake calipers, 19-inch gloss black alloy wheels and black side mirror housings.

The interior has also been specially treated. The sports seats are upholstered in a distinctive brown leather that extends to the door trims, door handles and steering wheel. The top of the console has a carbon-look finish, and the door panels have a similar finish. There is also a numbered door sill plate as a reminder that you hooked him one of the last stingers in existence.

There is no wrong place or time for brown leather.

Interestingly, Kia also unveiled a new bee-shaped emblem for the Stinger Tribute Edition. The end of car production is an odd time to introduce a new badge, but better late than none at all. Stinger’s new logo is embossed on the headrests, but unfortunately that’s the only place it appears.

The Kia Stinger Tribute Edition will be available to buyers in 2023. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but for context, his 2023 Stinger GT2 with the same V6 starts at around $52,000.
