Two cars parked in Portland were vandalized Wednesday morning, according to the Portland Fire Department.
Department Chief Sean C. Donoghue said both vehicles were destroyed, although no one was injured.
The first vehicle that caught fire had a Connecticut license plate and was parked near St. Luke's Cathedral at 143 St. Luke's State. The fire from that vehicle spread to another parked car.
Donahue said the cause of the fire, which was reported around 11:20 am, remains unknown.
